Statement of intent. For my billboards, I will make sure that they align with the rules set about the ASA. For example, I will ensure that my billboards do not contain any content that could promote or depict anti-social behaviour, violence, offence or distress to any viewers- achieved by not showing or depicted alcohol, drugs and/or violence; this is especially important as my billboards will be located in towns and city centres, therefore, not all the viewers will be apart of the target audience and could potentially be children, so they need to be appropriate in case they are seen by children, because if not this could cause serious distress. However, because of the clientele I am planning to air my documentary after watershed, this way I am able discuss mature content as I am planning to centre my documentary around Britain’s most infamous disappearances.
